A new architecture for supporting the development of sensors network application in Android environment has been proposed and experimentally tested. The system is divided in two main parts: one, called ‘FW stage’, a tool for programming and addressing the remote sensors; 10 and the other one, called ‘SW stage’, a framework for allowing Android developers to handle remote sensors as they would be embedded ones.
