A method of generating a diagnostic index for Alzheimer’s disease expected to stimulate a subject by means of transcranial magnetic stimulation with a conditioning stimulus and, after a first predetermined time interval, with a control stimulus and record the amplitude of a first potential evocatomotorio generated to effect such conditioning stimuli and control. A second conditioning stimulus is administered after a second higher predetermined time interval allowing to record the amplitude of a second motor-evoked potential. A third conditioning stimulus is administered by electrical nerve stimulation after a third predetermined time interval, allowing to record the amplitude of a third motor-evoked potential generated by effect of the third conditioning stimulus. Subsequently, the method provides for generating a diagnostic index based on an elaboration of the first, second and third motor evoked potential recorded.
